Who is behind this

Galaxy Glider is a free hobby project. Questions, or want your score removed? Email galaxyglider.game@gmail.com.

What is stored when you save a score

• The name you type. It is shown publicly. Use a nickname if you prefer. Offensive names are automatically replaced with "Pilot".
• Your score, distance and play time, and the date.
• Your country as a two-letter code, as reported by our hosting provider. Not shown on the leaderboard.
• A scrambled fingerprint of your IP address, only to block spam (no more than 30 scores per hour). It cannot be turned back into your IP address, changes every day, and is deleted automatically within two hours. Your IP address itself is never stored.

If you just play without saving a score, nothing about you is sent to our server.

What is stored on your own device

Your browser keeps your own scores, the last name you used and whether you prefer the buttons left or right. This never leaves your device. You can delete it by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

What we don't do

• No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising.
• No accounts, no email addresses, no passwords.
• We never sell or share your data.

Hosting

The game and leaderboard run on Cloudflare (Workers and D1). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.

How long scores are kept

Scores stay on the leaderboard until they are removed. You can ask for your score to be removed at any time via the email address above.

Why

We only process this data to run the leaderboard and keep it free of spam and abuse.
